Green Open Homes and Gardens took place on Saturday 15th June. Visitors learned how to heat homes efficiently, reduce energy bills and create beautiful, eco-friendly gardens.


East Harptree Green Open Homes and Gardens was held on Saturday 15th June, 9am – 5pm. Local residents came together for a day of exploring energy-efficient homes and biodiverse gardens! You can still view case studies for these open homes in East Harptree and Chew Stoke to learn how to heat your home efficiently, reduce energy bills, and create beautiful, eco-friendly gardens.

Homeowners shared their experiences and insights on measures from renewable energy to wildlife-friendly gardens changes that help wildlife to thrive. This friendly and informative event is part of the Green Open Homes B&NES communities project, aimed at inspiring sustainable living.
